City of Vaughan program
Vaughan may cover half your backwater valve
The City of Vaughan's flood protection program may cover half the cost of installing a backwater valve, up to $750. Existing single-family, duplex and triplex homes qualify, the installer must be licensed by the City of Toronto or registered with York Region, and you need to apply within one year of installation. One subsidy per property, first come first served.
